ACHOO! ACHOO! I’ve Got the Flu

“A cleverly funny animal tale with giggleworthy illustrations” Kirkus Reviews  read review

Some days just don’t turn out the way you expect….

Sad and alone on his birthday, Lion is super excited when his friends, Polar Bear, Gorilla, Hippo and Rhino show up to throw the lonely lion a surprise party.

Lion’s birthday celebration takes another unexpected turn when the king sized mammals come down with the flu one at a time, leaving the lion to care for his four sick and demanding friends. Exhausted from nurturing his bedridden buddies back to health, the lion finally catches the flu virus, and needs his friends to help boost his immune system with hot soup, tea and lots of attention.  A book about friends in need and being there for the ones you love.

This humorous picture book story is written in rhyme and conveys a lesson in learning to deal with disappointments with compassion

A humorous juvenile fiction animal tale and read aloud picture book for toddlers, preschoolers and all kids ages 3-8.

Laughter is good medicine.
